Surface Toolpath
Edit Node of Mesh
COMMAND:
Menu[Mesh>Edit Node of Mesh]
Step:
1.First, draw a solid figure. For example, draw a cube. Choose the menu[Mesh Primitives>Cube]. And then choose the menu [mesh>Edit Node of Mesh].Double-click this cube, press the right button of the mouse. When the menu appears, choose “show axis”, then choose some mesh nodes. At the same time the axis with x、y、z directions appears.
2、The red arrow indicate the X-axis direction. When drag this red arrow in the horizontal direction,the selected nodes can move along the X-axis.There is a white box in the rear of the X-axis. When drag the white box, the selected nodes will be zoomed in or out. There is a small blue circle in front of the red arrow. When clicked it ,you can rotate the selected nodes in the Y plane.
3、The blue arrow indicate the Z-axis direction. When drag this blue arrow along the Z -axis, the selected nodes can move along the Z-axis.There is a white box in the rear of the Z-axis. When drag the white box, the selected nodes will be zoomed in or out. There is a small green circle in front of the red arrow. When clicked it ,you can rotate the selected nodes in the X-plane.
4、The green arrow indicate the Y-axis direction. When drag this green arrow along the Y -axis, the selected nodes can move along the Y-axis.There is a white box in the rear of the Y-axis. When drag the white box, the selected nodes will be zoomed in or out. There is a small red circle in front of the green arrow. When clicked it ,you can rotate the selected nodes in the Z-plane.
More Tips:
① In the X-axis direction,click the white box in the rear of the X-axis and press the”shift”key as the same time. The selected nodes will be zoomed in or out in both the X-axis and Y-axis direction.
②In the Y-axis direction, click the white box in the rear of the Y-axis and press the”shift”key as the same time. The selected nodes will be zoomed in or out in both the Y-axis and Z-axis direction.
③ In the Z-axis direction, click the white box in the rear of the Z-axis and press the”shift”key as the same time. The selected nodes will be zoomed in or out in both the Z-axis and X-axis direction.
Application Example:
