FAQ: |
1. Why the scanned picture can
not be transferred into a outline?
The format to choose when scanning a picture should be black and
white, BMP or TIF, rather than gray-scale picture.
2. How to define the size of the character?
With “exact size ” function, users can easily get the desired size
of character.
3. Why sometimes cutter engrave a line before
it start to work?
This is caused by abnormal exit in last time cutting, and the toolpath
remains in the program. The solution is to cut off the power supply
of the cutter, and then restart it.
4. What if we can not enter the ArtCUT software
program?
1) Reinstall ArtCUT software if there is a problem with the software.
2) Check if ArtCUT is running by pressing Alt+Tab key.
5. What if the cutter doesn’t work when outputting
files?
1) Check if the cutter is well connected with the computer.
2) Check if the cutter is in “online” status.
3) Reinstall ArtCUT software, and check if the software is original
version.
4) Reinstall Windows in case the cutter output dialog is displayed
but the output menu is not displayed.
6. What if there’s not the type of cutter
in the ArtCUT software?
This can be solved by two solutions Click on “others”, and choose
the command HPGL or DMPL.
7. How to get the desired size when outputting
with printer?
Just select the desired paper, and ArtCUT software will choose the
right size for output.
8. What if the vinyl can not be taken off
after cutting out characters?
1) Adjust the pressure as suitable after testing the tool pressure
before output.
2) Check if the cutter works too long time and needs to be replaced
by a new one.
9. What if the hard disk is not big enough
when installing ArtCUT?
Choose the most often used character type, then the hard disk space
can be saved.
10. How to install the scanner?
Install the scanner program, and after that following the steps
below.
1) Choose “Source” in “File”.
2) Click on ”Source” in “Select”.
3) Click on “EasyTwainModule” in “Select”, and press “enter”.
